Top 5 Clichés You’re Likely to See at Coachella

We all know Coachella isn’t just about the music. It’s also about the food, the art, the fashion, and best of all…the people watching. That’s why we put together a list of a few classic characters you might see at the festival, whether you’re in person or watching the livestream.

What do you think? Are we missing any?

The Fashionista

It’s that time of the year again. The ugg boots and sweatpants go away, and out come the strappy dresses, giant sunglasses, and flower crowns. It’s safe to say Coachella holds the record for most flower crowns in one place, ever. And we’re hoping 2016 breaks the record.

The Selfie Addict

We all have that one friend. The one who takes a thousands pictures of the same thing one degree apart looking for that perfect angle. To those attending the festival this weekend: you are about to end up in other people’s pictures. Bigtime.

The Bored Kid

Some of us hope to be the “cool” parent and bring our children to music festivals. Some of us have better judgement than that. You will definitely be seeing more of the next generation attending music festivals as millennials continue to have kids. Hopefully, they are not all as bored as this little guy, and they are wearing earmuffs.

The Cultural (Mis)appropriators

Most of the things you are told not to wear on Halloween will come out at Coachella. Because why not?

The Celebrities

Celebrities are often found lurking around Coachella trying to blend in with other people who look just like them. Sometimes they go unseen, other times they are disguised, and other times… they aren’t so lucky and the paparazzi snaps a picture.
