D.C.-based rapper Oddisee performs as part of Words Beats & Life’s teach-in event Remixing the Art of Social Change: A Hip Hop Approach. The event explores Hip Hop artists, scholars, educators, activists, and allies can continue to educate others about the benefits of arts and culture to youth and the community. The Millennium Stage at Kennedy Center was created and underwritten by James A. Johnson and Maxine Isaacs to make the performing arts accessible to everyone in fulfillment of the Kennedy Center’s mission to its community and the nation.
