Emmy Award-winning online music series Skyville Live features a special woman’s March 20th show with Melissa Ethridge, Cam, Lindsay Ell, Orianthi and Troi Irons in celebration of the musical power of women.  “Melissa, Cam, Lindsay, Orianthi and Troi speak to the wealth of talent that female entertainers share with us, the audience,” said Wally Wilson, creator of Skyville Live.  “In the spirit of the times and in conjunction with March being ‘Woman’s History Month’ Skyville Live wanted to celebrate this wonderful legacy.”  Beginning at 7 PM CT on March 20, the latest edition of Skyville Live will also feature the usual backing band of industry elites the show is known for. Led by guitarist Kenny Greenberg, this all-star group includes Steve Mackey on bass, Chad Cromwell on drums, Mike Rojas on B3, Justin Schipper slide guitar and a six piece horn section conducted by Roy Agee.

Naughty Professor Echo Sessions

IAMAVL is excited to present one of New Orleans’ greatest exports, Naughty Professor, joining them live in-studio for Echo Sessions on Tuesday March 21st! These cats always bring the heat with their jazz-influenced, constantly evolving, high energy funk/soul performances, and have been a favorite of IAMAVL’s ever since first seeing them blow it up at The Tuesday Night Funk Jam a while back. They have artists like George Porter Jr., Galactic, and The Revivalists all working with them, so you know it’s legit. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this Echo Sessions with one of the fastest rising bands in the game.

The Soulquarians: D.C. Pays Tribute to Common

The Kennedy Center Millenium Stage

Tune in live as members of the Washington area creative community join together to honor the cultural impact and influence of early 2000s group The Soulquarians, comprised of such artists as Common, D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, Q-Tip, J Dilla, The Roots, Mos Def and more. Curated by D.C.-based conceptual artist and musician Jamal Gray, and the multimedia arts collective CMPVTR CLVB, this concert precedes the NSO Pops performance with rapper Common in the Concert Hall that will also be streamed live, as part of JFKC: A Centennial Celebration of John F. Kennedy.

Progressive Rock and Dance music outfit Dopapod kick off their 2017 Spring Tour with three nights at Brooklyn Bowl NY with support from Sophistafunk (3/23), The Jauntee (3/24), and Paris Monster (3/25) with the option to stream live thanks to Nugs.TV. Fans can pick up each night a la carte in SD or HD formats, or bundle the three nights together to save some dough.  While the brush in their hand uses every color, it’s the stroke on the canvas that gives Dopapod a distinct voice in the way of crafty songwriting.
