Metallica is coming down the home stretch before their North American ‘WorldWired’ tour starts in Baltimore. The band is beyond excited to see all of you out there on the first proper tour in this part of the world since 2009. To kick off the celebrations, Metallica invites you to get a sneak peek of what to expect this summer by checking out their rehearsal the night before the first show via the magic of streaming video. In a little show very cleverly titled “Now That We’re Live”, Metallica will bring their live rehearsal on Tuesday, May 9th direct to your computer, tablet, mobile device or any other way you reach the internet at 9:00 PM EDT. Sounds like it’s time to get wired with Metallica!

KEXP live from Upstream Music Fest + Summit 2017

KEXP is proud to partner with the Upstream Music Fest + Summit, May 11th through 13th in Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood. KEXP will be broadcasting live and streaming live video from Little London Plane, featuring performances each day from a variety of Upstream artists including Long Winters, The Maldives, COSMOS and others. Cheryl Waters, Kevin Cole, Morgan, Troy, and Sharlese will all be spinning tunes in between live sets. Tune in beginning at 10:30am PST on Thursday and Friday, and again at 12:30pm PST on Saturday.
