5 Reasons Why KAABOO Is The Most Unique Music Festival Of The Year

This weekend sees the return of KAABOO Del Mar to Northern San Diego, CA and it is set to reach a major global audience with a unique live digital experience.

As the artists and fans make their way to the southern California city of Del Mar, LiveList takes a look at the top five reasons the KAABOO experience sets itself apart from the other festivals of the summer.

5. It’s An Event Tailored For Grown Ups

The three-day, weekend festival starts on September 15 but unlike most mainstream festivals on the west coast, KAABOO is a weekend for primarily adults. But the live stream opens it up to be enjoyed by more than just ‘adults’.

The artists booked, cuisine on-site, and the beachside atmosphere provided all have a mature theme at play. This balance is just right for those that want to party and let loose without having to compromise their tastes and lifestyle.

4. Where Else Can You Find Red Hot Chili Peppers And Ice Cube On The Same Stage?

The event features performances from over 20 musical behemoths. Legends such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse and Ice Cube (not webcast) will be joined by new school strongholds in the likes of Jason Derulo, Logic, and more.

This not only shows a mix of eras but also a cocktail of genres coming together for one weekend only. For the full live stream lineup, visit: www.kaaboodelmar.com/live.

3. It’s An Entire Artistic Experience

KAABOO was created by music lovers, for music lovers, although music is not the only form of art that will be celebrated this weekend. Some of the world’s most talented comedians, chefs and visual artists have been curated to be on site sharing their art forms in many different ways. The combination of music, art and taste-making on the beautiful, tranquil beaches of the Pacific Ocean make this an artistic paradise.

2. It’s On A Cosy Californian Beach

Del Mar literally translates as “From the shore” in Spanish, and those calm waters are viewable from the festival at the Fairgrounds. KAABOO has a range of outdoor spaces that can be explored to soak up the California sunshine.

At this time of the year, the temperature averages just under 80 degrees, perfect to soak up the rays. If you need a break from the sun, there are a range of indoor activities in climate-controlled environments. At this festival, there’s no rolling around in the mud with top of the range facilities on site to clean up and stay fresh!
