Each year on February 7th, music lovers all over the world observe International Clash Day, an annual celebration of seminal UK punk band the Clash, and a recognition of the enduring influence of their music and human rights message. This year, KEXP will travel to London for a 4-day live broadcast and online event, featuring live performances, exclusive interviews, with a special focus on music and message in The Clash’s landmark album London Calling, which celebrates its 40th year in 2019. Back in Seattle, we will celebrate with Clash Cover Night on Thursday, February 7th at 7:00 PM at Washington Hall featuring Hotels, Mirrorgloss, Guayaba, and Dark Smith.

The soulful singer-songwriter Leon Bridges released his new album Good Thing and was nominated for not one, but two Grammy Awards this year. Before Bridges hits the Grammys red carpet this weekend, the Texas native is celebrating during an exclusive and intimate concert in Los Angeles on February 5th, just a few days ahead of Music’s Biggest Night. This year, Bridges scored Grammy nominations for Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Bet Ain’t Worth The Hand” and Best R&B Album for Good Thing. During iHeartRadio LIVE with Leon Bridges Presented by Aflac, fans can expect to hear a lot of the recording artist’s new music, in addition to songs from his previous album, while fans from across the country will be able to stream the concert live.
